I realized that since I started my full time job, I haven’t really traveled anywhere and it’s been almost 2 years. I had only taken 5 vacation days last year so that I could carry over the last 5 to this year. A few weeks ago I decided I would go to San Diego because I wanted to relax at the beach. I have a friend, Jake, who lives there too and he would let me stay with him.
I found a cheap flight to LA with Spirit airlines, didn’t need carry on so it was even cheaper, just a “personal item” backpack was enough for the short trip. Jake would pick me up in LA and then I would take the Amtrak back so overall, no major expenses.
I decided to upgrade from a Go Pro 3 to the new Go Pro Hero 6. I brought it with me for my short trip and this is the video I made. Definitely improved my filming and editing skills since my last trip!
